In 2024, Burton Automotive Hunter Valley Steamfest is partnering with the Royal Newcastle Aero Club to give one lucky winner the chance to ride shotgun in a 1930s biplane during this year’s landmark ARTC Great Train Race.
 

Two steam trains will race against a classic de Havilland DH-82 Tiger Moth biplane, where our winner will be seated for the duration of the ARTC Great Train Race on Sunday morning.

How to enter: Complete our short and simple webform by telling in 25 words or less why you would love to experience the Steamfest ARTC Great Train Race with a joyride in the Royal Newcastle Aero Club Tiger Moth this year.
 

Once you have read the terms and conditions, entrants will need to complete the entry form below. 

All fields are mandatory and must be completed in order for your entry to be valid. 

The winner will be selected on Tuesday 2 April and will be notified by midday Tuesday 2 April.

The winner will have until Thursday 4 April to claim the prize, at which time another winner will be selected.

Prior to entering the competition it is important that all entrants read and agree to the terms and conditions for the event. 

There are a number of requirements that entrants must meet in order to be eligible to be in the running to win the Joy Flight experience.
