The Rally Ground is a bustling hive of activity, showcasing engineering ingenuity across a range of machinery from the era of steam.

Brought together by the Maitland Steam and Antique Machinery Association the program features one of Australia’s largest collections of portable engines, traction engines and vintage farming equipment.

The Rally Ground also features the Little Engines Kids area featuring face painting, jumping castles and coal shovelling, demonstrations hosted by the Museum of Applied Arts and Science (MAAS), as well as Miniature Railway rides, food stalls and more.

There is a small donation of $2 for entry to the Rally Ground, however children under 16 years of age receive free entry.
