In 2018, Hunter Valley Steamfest will play host to heritage steam locomotives, as well as diesel engines.

Over the weekend, the locos and engines will be taking passengers on a number of journeys across the Hunter.

A Steamfest favourite, The Great Train Race will take place on the Sunday  of Steamfest, seeing our locomotives race against a single Tiger Moth. Last year the Tiger Moth just edged out our loco and took home the title for 2017.

Note: Locomotives, destinations and final timetable is subject to change without notice. Seat selection is preference only as carriages may vary.  

Due to the Heritage Nature of the locomotives, prams and wheelchairs are unable to be take on the train. A wheelchair and pram enclosure will be situated next to the ticketing tent and patrons able to utilise this for free over the weekend.
