Experience the excitement of steam with a one way journey from Sydney to Maitland on Friday 13 April for the 2018 Hunter Valley Steamfest. This is your chance to join in on the journey from Sydney to the big event behind legend of steam locomotive, 3642.

Travel in 1930s carriages as the Steamfest Flyer huffs and puffs through the suburbs, storms through the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and winds its way along the scenic Hawkesbury River waterways to the Hunter.

Board the train at either Central, Hornsby or Gosford stations. Alight at either Broadmeadow or Maitland.

The Steamfest Flyer is operated by NSW Rail Museum.


Following Steamfest why not catch the Steamfest Flyer back to Sydney (Concord West) on Monday 16 April.
