 excursions-saturday  excursions-sunday

Steamfest organisers have been advised that locomotive 3265 will no longer be attending Hunter Valley Steamfest. The owner of 3265, Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS), formerly the Powerhouse Museum, along with Transport Heritage New South Wales (THNSW) have undertaken a joint assessment and agreed that the scale of works required to bring the locomotive up to operational condition for Steamfest is unlikely to be completed in time for use at the event on 18 and 19 April.

Steamfest is liaising with THNSW who are working to source an alternative steam locomotive and organisers will release information as soon as it becomes available. The loss of 3265 will mean changes to the engines running specific excursions across the timetable will be required.

As organisers are still working through what these changes might mean for the timetable, ticketholders are asked to wait until further information is announced before contacting organisers.
