Richmond Vale Railway Museum
The Richmond Vale Railway Museum is a volunteer non-profit organization, formed in 1979 with the aim of preserving the Railway and Mining Heritage of J&A Brown and the Hunter Valley.
The R.V.R.M. is located in the old Richmond Main Colliery site, Main Road 135, Leggett's Drive, Richmond Vale 4kms south of Kurri Kurri in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Over the Steamfest weekend free buses will run from the Maitland Railway Bridge within the Steamfest precinct to the Richmond Vale Railway Museum where visitors can enjoy rides on the steam engine 'Marjorie', miniature train rides 'Thomas' and guided tours of the engine shed. The souvenir shop and canteen will also be open to visitors.
